avatarAvatar
He Says: An amazing, truly revolutionary piece of film entertainment from Titanic director James Cameron. This masterpiece fully satisfied my passion for sci-fi, fantasy and outstanding special effects. You may find the story unoriginal, but everything else about this movie will keep your senses alert and alive. An absolute must-see. ♦♦♦

She Says: A paraplegic war veteran on the planet Pandora is introduced to his "avatar," a half-human, half-Na'vi creature, and gets caught up in a conflict between the two races. While a visually stunning movie that is sure to make film history, the mediocre storyline is a little too long. ♦♦♦

newmoonNew Moon
He Says: A disappointing sequel to 2008's teen vampire flick Twilight that seems to have few links to the first film. The romance between the main characters, played by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, is portrayed more as a violent obsession than a love affair. The werewolves were well done, though. ♦

She Says:
Following Bella's (Kristen Stewart) ill-fated 18th birthday party, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and his family decide to leave town. But Bella's life is about to get a lot more complicated. I preferred the first film to this sequel, but I still enjoyed New Moon, regardless of what the film critics thought. ♦♦♦

septissueThe September Issue
He Says: Enjoy an inside look at the publishing industry as Vogue magazine's outrageous team of editors puts together the September 2007 issue. A very entertaining documentary that is well worth watching. ♦♦♦

She Says: I'm now a huge fan of legendary Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour after watching this documentary about the production of the monster (it weighed almost 2 kilos) September 2007 issue. A must-see for all fashionistas. ♦♦♦

youngvictorianThe Young Victorian
He Says: Splendid acting from Emily Blunt and Rupert Friend as Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Both the screenplay and cinematography of this period drama are exceptional. Compared with her roles in Sunshine Cleaning and The Devil Wears Prada, Blunt's performance is refreshing.   ♦♦♦

She Says:
The performances, costumes and music of this dramatization of the early years of the reign of Queen Victoria and her enduring romance with Prince Albert are all excellent. Emily Blunt sets herself up for stardom with this performance of Victoria. ♦♦♦
