Overseas Terms & Conditions
Weight
Packages cannot be heavier than 70 kg in most countries. Weight restrictions are lower in some countries, so please check with the counter staff for information. Total shipment weight is unlimited.
Dimensions
Maximum length is 270 cm per package.
Maximum size is 330 cm in combined length and girth per package.
Value
Maximum value is $50,000 per package.
PO Box, APO & C/O
Shipments to post office boxes, military post offices and to consignee care of hotels, lodges or schools are not accepted.
Prohibited Articles
Foodstuff; animals; plants; dangerous goods; drugs; unaccounted baggage; passports; cash; stock certificates and other securities; firearms; swords (including models and replicas); valuables; precious metals and stones; jewelry valued at $500 and more; cigarettes; electromagnetic medical equipment; pornographic material; ship and airplane devices; and dry ice.
Other items may be restricted or prohibited in specific countries. Some commodities must have a legal export certificate or statement of approval prior to shipment.
Billing Options
Prepaid: Freight paid by the shipper, duty and tax paid by the consignee.
Free Domicile: All freight, duty and tax paid by the shipper.
Freight Collect: All freight, duty and tax paid by the consignee (requires consignee’s UPS account details).
Billable Weight
The actual weight or dimensional weight, whichever is greater, will be used to determine the freight cost for the shipment.
UPS Free Packaging Material
Letter/Envelope: For exclusive use of urgent documents. No weight or page limit.
Express Pack: For flat, non-breakable articles, including heavier document shipments.
Express Box: For a wide range of documents and packages.
Express Tube: For large, rolled documents.
