You can check the status of your Library account anytime, anywhere. Simply call or e-mail the Library to register and
get your password.
Click
on the "online Library catalog" and "My account." You can find out which books are in your Library cart, when they are due back and if any fines have accrued.
Magazines
Do you miss magazines from home? The Library has an array of periodicals available. Current issues can be read in-house, while non-current issues can be checked out for two weeks. Or, if you prefer your own personal copy, you can purchase People

at competitive prices at the Library. Our stock is limited to only four or five copies per title, so to avoid disappointment please visit or contact the Library as early as possible.
Reference and readers' advisor
The trained library staff is on hand to assist you with your information needs.
Color photocopier
A self-service color photocopy machine is available for Member use for a fee of ¥10 for black-and-white and ¥50 for color copies.
Internet
Six Internet-ready computers are available for Member use: three in the Children's Library and three in the Adult Library.
Book exchange
Members are welcome to leave their used paperbacks in exchange for other titles. Also included on these shelves are hardcover books, which are sold for ¥100.
