Wine Program Manager (Fine Dining Decanter)

Couple your passion for wine and leadership as you oversee and develop all areas of wine service at the Club

- Key player in development of overall Club wine program
- Oversees all areas of wine from purchase through menus
- Leads a team of sommeliers


Requirements:
• Experience Min. 5 years as sommelier
• Cert. Relevant cert. from accredited wine association (level III/Advanced of the Court of master Sommeliers or equivalent preferred) or strong interest in the industry with sufficient experience
• Eng Advanced level (BULATS 4)
• Jpn Intermediate level
• Energetic, outgoing and people-oriented with a passion for wine and customer service

Working schedule:

5 days/week (including weekend /national holidays)

Captain (Fine Dining Decanter)

Put your growing service-leadership skills to the test, working closely with the Decanter management to ensure a first-class Member experience front of house and a smooth, well oiled operation back of house.

- Assist with the day to day operation of the outlet
- Assist Manager to constantly achieve sales and MS targets
- Promote and cross-sell all F&B outlets
- Demonstrate leadership and open communication amongst the service and kitchen staff. A proven role-model as a leader.
- Maintain the adherence to F&B policies, service and grooming standards
- Conduct daily meal period briefings
- Actively participate in departmental meetings
- Minimize all expenses

Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years progressive experience in Food and Beverage up to supervisory level, preferably with exposure to formal and casual dining.
• Hotel School education preferred
• Advance -level English (BULATS 4)
• Advance-level Japanese
• Computer literacy
• Strong hands-on, service-oriented supervisor with proven leadership ability
• Energetic, outgoing and people-oriented

Sommelier (Fine Dining Decanter)

Couple your passion for wine and personalized service as you handle wine sales to our Members. Be ready to provide inspiring recommendations or track down a rare vintage.

- Oversees all service areas of wine and liqueurs
- Assists the Decanter Manager in various tasks including development and maintenance of the wine list ensuring the product and service are delivered at highest quality possible
- Ensures positive member relations by strong presence on the floor
- Adheres to TAC grooming and service standards at all times
- Participates in daily meal period briefings as required
- Attends wine-related meetings as necessary

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years experience as sommelier
• Relevant certification from an accredited wine seminar/association or strong interest in the industry with sufficient experience
• Advanced – level English (BULATS 4)
• Advanced – level Japanese

Receptionist (Fine Dining Decanter)

Put your growing service skills to the test, working closely with the Decanter management to ensure a first-class Member experience front of house and a smooth, well-oiled operation back of house.

- Responsible for the day to day operation of the reception area
- Manages the flow of guests into the outlet and controls reservations in a professional manner
- Greets, escorts, seats and is responsible for the guests first and last impressions
- Maintains hands-on service with courtesy and efficiency, at all times
- Ensures Guest Relations team are updated all the time with regard to the outlet's information and reservation status
- Adheres to the TAC grooming and personal hygiene standards at all times


Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Food & Beverage
• Knowledge and experience in Restaurant Reservations
• Advanced – level English (BULATS 4)

Section Chef - Teppan (Fine Dining Decanter)

Prepare the finest and most unique meat program in the city in our state of the art kitchen. You'll work under the direction of the Sous Chef to please a variety of taste buds and execute other duties as needed.

- Supervising and coordinating all activities in assigned kitchen area
- Responsible for staff and production
- Assure consistency in quality and cost standards
- Assist Sous Chef with Human Resources related areas
- Ensure production of food items meet quality control and other standards
- Assist Sous Chef in preparation and delivery new menus
- Recommend changes and innovation
- Support Sous Chef in achieving budgeted food and payroll costs
- Ensure that Food & Beverage policies are adhered to
- Consistently maintain high levels of hygiene and sanitation.

Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years Teppan experience
• Knowledge of Japanese laws related to food safety
• Upper Intermediate-level English (BULATS 3)
• Upper Intermediate-level Japanese
• Basic computer knowledge
• High leadership and communication skills

Teppan Chef (Fine Dining Decanter)

Banquet Sales Executive

- Responsible for achieving targeted revenue of bnqt sales
- Assists Banquet Manager in achieving revenues and MSS goals
- Assists in marketing, planning and organizational issues
- Competitor analysis
- Training and development of staff
- Ensure TAC standards of excellence to all clients
- Ensure adherence to F&B policies

Requirements:
• Experience Proven F&B experience
• Education University / Hotel school education preferred
• Eng Intermediate-level English (BULATS 3~)
• Jpn Fluency in Japanese, written and verbal
• PC Skills Word, Excel, Outlook, Abacus
• Other Skills Some financial literacy, excellent communication and team skills

Banquet Service Captain

- Oversee the day to day operations of Banquet functions
- Training and development of service staff
- Assist and support Banquet Manager in overall administration and management.

• Experience Min 3 years (Bridal service experience preferred)
• Eng Advanced level (BULATS 4)
• Jpn Advanced level
• PC Skills Word, Excel, Outlook, POS

Serve first-rate culinary delights to our diners at a variety of events, from business luncheons through formal banquets. This role requires excellent teamwork with a friendly efficient service-minded attitude.

- Banquet Service: venue set-up, food and drinks service
- Outside Catering: Delivering food, drinks and tableware, Serving at Member's homes and Cleaning up

Requirements:
• Driver's License (Automatic only is acceptable)
• 1-2 years' experience in Food & Beverage Services
(preferably with Banquet Service experience)

American Bar & Grille Assistant Chef

Prepare American comfort foods and healthy modern fare using ripe seasonal ingredients in our state-of-the-art kitchen. You'll work under the direction of the section chef to please a variety of taste buds and execute other duties as needed.

- Preparation of Salads, Sandwiches, Grilled Meats & Fish, Entree & Dessert in an American grill style a la carte restaurant


Requirements:
• More than 3 years' experience in Western cuisine
• Basic cooking school certificate preferable

Pool Lifeguard
Keep the high-energy, rooftop aquatic area, poised to be one of the Club's most popular spots for all ages, safe and clean for users to enjoy year-round. In addition to being highly alert and responsible, you should be certified in first aid, CPR and AED.

 

- Ensure the safe operation of the aquatics facility.
- Maintains constant surveillance of patrons using the facility.
- Maintains general safety and security at the pool.


Requirements:
• Current lifesaving/guard certification
• Current CPR, First Aid, AED certification
• American Red Cross Lifeguard qualification is a plus
• Certified swim instructor qualifications is a plus
• Strong Hospitality Skills

Bowling Staff

Keep the Club's keglers in top form at the vibrant, state-of-the-art bowling center. Duties include registering bowlers, handling balls and rental equipment and preparing the lanes.

Members' Club experience starts from the moment they arrive at the Azabudai facility and as part of the front desk concierge staff, you'll welcome them "home" as members of this unique Tokyo family with a friendly greeting and warm smile. Besides dealing with day-to-day inquiries, this indispensable band of problem solvers provides Members with assistance on a range of issues, from finding tickets for concerts and sports events in Tokyo to helping book weekend trips to interpreting and translating.

 

Member Services Desk Receptionist

Be ready to tackle a diversity of issues that arise and answer Member and staff inquiries in the hub of the bustling, international Club. With a friendly yet professional demeanor, you’ll give a positive boost to staff morale and communicate seamlessly with all departments.
