Now in its 17th year, Bon Odori combines the charm and revelry of an all-American carnival with the tradition of a Japanese summer festival for a memorable day of intercultural fun.
Open to the public and local community, this exciting family day out includes food and drinks stalls, games, prizes and children’s activities, such as face painting and balloon sculpting, as well as distinctly Japanese elements like a taiko drum performance and a yukata summer kimono contest.
In recognition of the Japanese holiday season of Bon, the festival climaxes with a customary Bon Odori dance around a specially built yagura tower.
Come and join in the fun at one of the Club's most popular and fun family events.
