Adult Swimming
Several offerings are tailored to adult swimmers looking to perfect their technique and maintain a healthy lifestyle, from 1-on-1 training to group courses.Registration 2010

Water Aerobics
Get an invigorating yet gentle morning workout in the Pool. The program is designed to and limb stress and prevent injuries while providing a greater range of motion and a solid cardiovascular workout.

Private Lessons
Swimmers of all levels can take advantage of dedicated pool time with an expert coach to learn the basics, strengthen a weak point or focus on a specific technique. Semi-private lessons are offered for up to 3 students.Registration

- Private lessons are divided into four sessions: spring, summer, fall and winter. Registration is required for each session. Lessons run through the end date of each session.
- The Pool Office does not automatically transfer bookings from session to session. Re-enrollment is required to be submitted on the designated registration day of each session to continue the lessons.
- Priority will be given according to swimmers’ start dates. In the case of the same start date, priority will be given according to the time of registration.
- The Pool Office will schedule lessons as close as possible to requested dates and times.
- Sessions will not be confirmed unless registering Members respond to the confirmation letter within 7 business days.
- Members can book sessions in person 5 days prior to the requested lesson time. Please read the cancellation policy for in-person bookings.
Cancellation Policy
- Swimmers can participate in the first lesson before deciding whether or not to continue. Cancellation must be made by 10 pm on the first day of lessons to avoid a penalty fee. Participants who cancel by the deadline will be billed for one lesson and the remainder of the course fee will be refunded.
- Cancellation made after 10 pm. on the first day of lessons will incur a charge of the full course fee.
- Cancellation due to illness requires a doctor’s note to receive a refund of class fees.
- For in-person bookings, cancellations received less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time will incur a full charge of the lesson fee. Same-day appointments are subject to the same cancellation penalties.

Note
- There is no system for make-up lessons. Inquire at the Pool Office for available spaces.
- Lessons will be held rain or shine, but will be canceled in the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. The Pool Office will contact swimmers in advance of canceled lessons whenever possible. Please provide your cell phone number on the sign-up form for easy notification.

Masters Advanced Class
This challenging program is designed for advanced swimmers who can complete 100m in less than 2 minutes. Four sessions per week combine for a total distance of roughly 10km of swimming. Sessions focus heavily on actual interval training, combined with proficient coaching and the use of equipment to develop swimmers' physical and mental aptitudes. Participants should be able to comfortably swim 100m within two minutes.
Note: Monday sessions will be independently conducted without Coach Higgins as relaxed recovery time following a strenuous week of training. Some stroke instruction will be incorporated into Friday and Saturday sessions.

Masters Lite
For serious swimmers looking for structured, guided group training to get that competitive edge or simply obtain a higher level of fitness. Each session will log approximately 2km of swimming. Participants should be able to complete long distances and to swim 50m on a 1:30 cycle.
