Happy New Year to all Members.



The Year of 2012 is the Year of the Dragon. After all the challenges we faced and learned from in 2011, let's not forget to embrace all the joy each waking day of 2012 offers us. I expect this to be a truly fantastic year for all.

** Complementary wine and mocktail

Members can kick-start their weekday mornings with breakfast in the sun-drenched surroundings of Café Med.
Open from 7:30 a.m., Café Med shifts its à la carte focus to weekday lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (last orders).

Rainbow Café, meanwhile, will continue to serve breakfast on weekend mornings.

** Tailgating at the Club

When someone follows you into the Club after you have swiped your card to get in, this is known as "tailgating".

In addition, when you are leaving the Club, be mindful if someone comes in without presenting their Member card.

This is your Club. If you are willing to swipe your card to identify that you have entered, others should do the same. The security of our Club is in all our hands and should be respected.

** Cell phone Reception

New antennas from all 3 major carriers (Docomo, Softbank, AU) have been installed to cover the B1 and B2 floors and other low reception areas around the Club. You should now be able to receive and make calls throughout the Club.

** Slow Down Please



Some of you may have noticed new signage and 'fencing' to help prevent children from running into the parking area. We would like to have all drivers follow the signage, drive at the appropriate posted speed limits, and pay extra attention for children who may dart out into the parking area.

All members, especially parents with small children should take extra care when walking in the parking area and/or when loading/unloading families in the parking area.

In addition, be sure to use the short term parking area (directly in front of the B1 entrances) for quick drop-offs/stops at the Club. Thank you!!!

Present a copy (printed or on a Mobile device) of the President's Insight for a complimentary glass of house wine or signature cocktail. One glass per Member and their guest until the end of January. Yes, it is here for all you iPhone users at TAC. We have an app and what an app it is.. Our IT department, lead by Lian Chang, has developed an app that makes learning about and communicating with TAC fun.

** Children / Parents' behavior

One of the most passionate issues the Club is having is over the behavior of some of the children / parents in the Family Dining areas.

The Food & Beverage Committee and Club Management have been working hard to ensure a pleasurable dining experience for all families and Members. However, yelling, screaming, running, and other unruly behavior are still quite common in the Club's restaurants.

It is up to the Members to keep their children under control and please remember that our restaurant staff is here to take care of us, not to police or babysit. Help us make the Family Dining areas fun, enjoyable and safe for all.
