Making the Pool a Safer Place
Please remember that children aged 10 and below are required to register as a Super Swimmer if they are to swim in the Pool without a parent being within arm’s reach. Parents of Super Swimmers are still required to be around the Pool when their children are in the water.

Requirements of the Revised Super Swimmers Test
1. Swim freestyle for 25 meters to demonstrate endurance and water competence.
2. Float or tread water for 30 seconds to demonstrate ability to control/change body position and remain unassisted in deep water. This is important for when swimmers jump from the diving board and surface before making it to the side.
3. Retrieve a pool ring off of the bottom of the shallow end to demonstrate water confidence.

Children under the age of 10 who are not Super Swimmers must always be within arm’s reach of a parent or guardian. Please note that every swimming season, up until the age of 10, children are required to retake the test unless they are members of the Mudsharks Swim Team.
