Dear Member,
Amid unfolding incidents caused by novel coronavirus, also known as the Covid-19 virus, the Club continues to coordinate its health and safety efforts with the Minato Public Health Center as well as the US Embassy.
For the latest updates on the Club’s ongoing preventative measures, Members can now visit the Keeping Your Club Safe page on the Club website.
As a reminder, housekeeping staff are continuously sanitizing frequently used facilities and surfaces such as railings, elevators and doors, additional alcohol-based sanitizers have been distributed throughout the Club and the Club will be checking the temperature of staff and vendors when arriving.
Club leadership and the management team are continuously monitoring developments throughout the greater Tokyo area and would like to remind Members to refrain from visiting the Club for a period of 14 days if they have recently traveled to China or have been in contact with those who have.
It is also requested that Members confirm all their guests also satisfy these conditions as well before accompanying them to the Club.
Presently, the Club will maintain normal operations however may implement further precautionary measures if situations heighten.
As always, Members should practice normal flu season precautions recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention such as washing hands for at least 20 seconds, avoiding touching the eyes, nose and mouth and staying home when feeling ill.
