Yanaka Edo District

Take in the charm and culture of Tokyo's historic Yanaka district.

This cherry blossom season tour will take in the sights of a part of the city that survived the Great Kanto Earthquake and World II bombings.

Besides visiting a number of temples, including the area's oldest, Tennoji, with its dazzling bronze Buddha, and Kannonji, which is dedicated to the famous 47 ronin samurai, tour participants will wander through Yanaka's famous cemetery and stop off at the Asakura Museum of Sculpture.

The next part of the tour showcase the area's wonderful selection of street snacks and handcrafted goods, such as washi paper, knives and baskets.

This tour promises to be a day packed with culture, cuisine and crafts.
