4th Activity: Go to Art Exhibitions and Museums

 

Golden Week is also a time when the weather is particularly pleasant—not too hot or cold. Take a walk through Tokyo and you’ll find some of our favorite art exhibitions and museums.

 

Art Liberation Zone EATS Nihonbashi is an art exhibition held in the east area of Tokyo Station (EATS) around Nihonbashi, from March 19 to May 9. EATS is a vibrant part of Tokyo that has long ties to the city’s past, as well as connections to developments that are shaping its future, which makes it a perfect location for this art event. Come to the show and feast your eyes on the variety of art while supporting the exhibiting artists.

The Mori Art Museum has just opened its newest exhibition: Another Energy: Power to Continue Challenging - 16 Women Artists from around the World. The exhibition features artworks from artists aged 71 to 105.
