Aloha Ukulele: Advanced (Series)

Enjoy a morning of laid-back Hawaiian vibes.


What will I learn in this class?
Learning how to play the popular instrument and sing advanced Hawaiian and popular tunes. Students will receive sheet music of songs practiced in class.

Students can bring their own ukulele or ask the instructor for recommendations on buying one for themselves. A small number of rental ukulele are available to reserve on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Who teaches this class?
Hiromichi Uchida developed an interest in American popular and jazz music during elementary school. After singing with country bands in high school. He embraced Hawaiian music and the ukulele while at university. His passion for Hawaiian and jazz music remains undimmed, and he occasionally sings live, either solo or as part of a group.
