Take in a garden fit for a king.
What will I learn in this class?
The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace sit adjacent to the current Imperial Palace, which also occupies the same location as the now-defunct Edo Castle, making the grounds truly worthy of emperors, shoguns and the like.
On this tour, stroll through the gardens while learning about the philosophies, structures and foregone politics that underpin its most notable features, including a bairin plum grove slope. Afterward, explore the nearby Otemachi business district’s inconspicuous green spaces within walking distance from the Imperial residence.
This tour includes an optional lunch.
