Temari Ball Workshop (Series)

Delicate and detailed, traditional temari toy balls have been prized in Japan for more than a millennium.

Temari balls and their fascinating designs have captivated viewers for centuries with their simple yet intricate beauty.

In this class, students learn to create four different temari using wrapping and patterning techniques in colors that match their own style and panache.

Amisha Sarvaiya has been practicing the art of temari for seven years. She has received her master's certificate from the Japan Temari Association and continues to instill a love for the art form in those new to temari.
