Lotus leaves paintings have spread across the globe from Thailand due to their natural beauty and meditative process.
In this class, students will practice layering and blending paints to create telltale lotus leaf shapes in a variety of colors.
No prior experience is necessary, and students can choose from four canvas sizes (A set of 20-by-20cm: ¥16,000; 40-by-40cm: ¥16,000; 40-by-90cm: ¥24,000; 60cm circular: ¥25,000) to suit their style.
Instructor
Yoko Hudspeth is an artist who studied fashion in college and has worked professionally as a textile designer and fashion illustrator in Japan and London. Since painting her first lotus leaves painting, she has taught classes in London, Shanghai and Singapore.
