Temari Ball Workshop (Series)

Delicate and detailed, traditional temari toy balls have been prized in Japan for more than a millennium.

One of Japan's many folk art forms, these intricately crafted thread balls can make a captivating decoration in any home.

In this class for both beginners and returning students, Members learn to create four different temari using wrapping and patterning techniques in colors that match their own style and panache.

Amisha Sarvaiya has been practicing the art of temari for seven years. She has received her master's certificate from the Japan Temari Association and continues to instill a love for the art form in those new to temari.
