Squash Social Night

Meet fellow Club squash lovers and test yourself against Club pro Peter Amaglio and former national champ Hitoshi Ushiogi.


This regular get-together is open to Members who have never played the sport before and who are keen to learn more.

Members are free to drop by from 6:30pm on the second Thursday or fourth Tuesday of each month (check the calendar for details).

Members can also contact Recreation Desk about taking squash lessons with one of the Club's squash coaches.

Squash Facts

  • Squash is played in 185 countries by around 25 million people.
  • There are about 50,000 squash courts around the world, three of which can be found at the Club.
  • The ill-fated Titanic had its own squash court.
  • Top tennis player Roger Federer enjoys squash. 
  • The longest squash rally took one hour and four minutes to complete.
  • Players can burn up to 1,000 calories a match, making squash one of the healthiest sports.

Club Reopening on June 1

With Tokyo's state of emergency no longer in effect, the Club is currently preparing to reopen select venues and services from June 1.
