Lotus leaves paintings have spread across the globe from Thailand on the back of their natural beauty and meditative process.
What will I learn in this class?
In this class, students will practice layering and blending paints to create the telltale lotus leaf shapes in a variety of colors.
No prior experience is necessary, and students can choose from three canvas sizes (20-by-20cm: ¥5,000; 40-by-40cm: ¥13,000; 40-by-90cm: ¥21,000) to suit their style.
Who teaches this class?
Yoko Hudspeth is an artist. She studied fashion in college and worked professionally as a textile designer and fashion illustrator in Japan and London. Since painting her first lotus leaves painting, she has taught classes in London, Shanghai and Singapore.
