Swim Stroke Master: Beginner

Next-level techniques from a former Olympian.


What will I learn in this class?
Supercharge your aquatic self with improved stroke form and efficiency, push-offs, body positioning and turns taught by an Olympian instructor.

What are the benefits of this class?
The swimmers will have the opportunity to learn technique drills with the Olympian hands on in-water instructions. The program is designed with a 3-months reassessment in mind, where each swimmer will receive a video analysis at the end of the program comparing the strokes from the first and last class.

Who will teach this class?
Miguel Ortiz-Cañavate is a former Olympic swimmer who competed for Spain in the 4-by-100-meter freestyle relay at the 2016 Summer Games. Once an NCAA, FINA World Cup and 27-time Spanish national champion, Ortiz-Cañavate now offers his elite skills to students hoping to take the next step in their swimming careers.

Intermediate
Swimming Snorkel Equipment required (please contact the pool office for option to purchase)
