What will I learn in this class?
Supercharge your aquatic self with improved stroke form and efficiency, push-offs, body positioning and turns taught by an Olympian instructor.

What are the benefits of this class?
Intermediate to advanced swimmers that have preferably attended 3-months of Swim Master Stroke (Beginner) Class will be able to work on their stroke technique by practicing drills in a workout setting. The aim is to transition from drills, learning an efficient stroke, and utilizing the new techniques during the workout. The Olympian will teach the important transitions, step-by-step, to make you a better and more efficient swimmer.

Who will teach this class?
Miguel Ortiz-Cañavate is a former Olympic swimmer who competed for Spain in the 4-by-100-meter freestyle relay at the 2016 Summer Games. Once an NCAA, FINA World Cup and 27-time Spanish national champion, Ortiz-Cañavate now offers his elite skills to students hoping to take the next step in their swimming careers.

Requirement:
Age 16y/o and over
advanced swimmers
Swimming Snorkel Equipment required (please contact the pool office for option to purchase)

  • 4 fitness passes


Purchase a passbook (¥13,200 for 10 uses) at the 2F Recreation Desk.
Passbooks are valid for six months.
