What will I learn in this program?

The program focuses on player development, life skills and an appreciation for basketball. Teams are formed by grade and skill level, and hone competitive abilities in local games and tournaments.

What are the benefits of this program?
Players develop a passion for basketball and improve their skills in practices and games while learning the true meaning of teamwork and the importance of sportsmanship. Most importantly, this program instills a love of the game in a fun environment.

Who teaches this program?
Dan Weiss is a former professional basketball player with experience playing in Japan and Turkey. John Rucker and Vitalii Goncharenko have played and coached basketball at various levels throughout their careers. Goncharenko recently served as coach for Malaysia’s UCSI University.

  • Cancellations are accepted before/on the day of the first class
  • T-shirt can be purchased at the Recreation Desk (¥2,200)
  • Private and semi-private classes available
  • Prices include consumption tax
