Expert-led sessions to help swimmers build their own effective training programs.

What will I learn in this class?
This new program is designed to guide intermediate and advanced swimmers and triathletes to the next level through sessions that teach effective pool workout technique, heart rate sets and drills with an emphasis on stroke efficiency. Each class includes sessions of dryland exercises and pool work.

What are the benefits of this class?
Learning how to build a workout regimen with realistic goals is key to becoming a better swimmer or training for an event. This class introduces different approaches, including creative sets in the pool and muscle-specific weight training, to help swimmers make consistent improvements on the path to reaching fitness or event goals.

Who will teach this class?
Swimmer Bruno Ortiz-Cañavate (pictured) has performed at the highest level. He represented Spain at the Rio Olympics in 2016 and holds seven Spanish swim records. Ortiz-Cañavate swam for the University of Michigan—which boasts one of the best swim programs in the United States—and was part of the team that won the NCAA Division I national title in 2013.
