Baking: Linzer Torte & Lebkuchen

Tips and tricks for crafting two delectable German holiday treats.

What will I learn in this class?
In this class, experience a taste of German Christmas culture.

Learn how to prepare and then sample some traditional linzer torte shortcake pastries and honey-sweetend lebkuchen gingerbread-esque cookies.

All recipes will be provided to participants. Please inform the instructor of any dietary restrictions.

Who teaches this class?
Gabriele Kirschner was born in the southern German town of Schwäbisch Hall and has been baking cakes, biscuits and an assortment of pastries since she was very young. She says she hopes to share her love of baking through simple tips, tricks and kitchen strategies.
