Nikko Photography Tour

Capture the essence of one of Japan’s most picturesque towns.

What will I learn in this class?
Perfect for photographers of all levels, this guided photography tour takes students through the finer points of lighting shots, adjusting shutter speeds and a host of other techniques necessary for capturing Nikko’s famous religious sites and pastoral locales such as mountain foliage, placid lakes and cascading waterfalls.

After a two-hour train ride to Nikko, enjoy local transportation by private bus to and from several locations that will make for stunning photographs. After a morning of hands-on instruction at several hidden gems, relax during lunch (included in the tour fee) at a local French restaurant, Chez Hoshino, before putting your skills to work at two UNESCO World Heritage sites, Toshogu Shrine and Rinnoji Temple.
