TAC Talk: Karen Hill Anton

Reflections on an uprooted life from the celebrated Japan Times and Chunichi Shimbun columnist.

Though Karen Hill Anton (pictured) now calls Japan home (she has lived in the Shizuoka countryside since 1975), it hasn’t always been that way. Born in New York City, the well-traveled American has spent time in the rural parts of her homeland as well as Europe, the Middle East and more.

In this TAC Talk, the sojourner and writer shares her thoughts (collected in her award-winning memoir, The View from Breast Pocket Mountain) on a life as meandering as it has been well-lived.

A must-see event for expat Members new and old to life away from home.
