Ukulele Aloha

Enjoy a morning of laid-back Hawaiian vibes while learning how to play and sing simple Hawaiian and popular tunes.

Pick up the basics of the ukulele and how to play such songs as “Happy Birthday To You,” “Tiny Bubbles” and “Lahaina Luna.”

Students can bring their own ukulele or buy one after the class.

Instructor: Hiromichi Uchida
Hiromichi developed an interest in American popular and jazz music during elementary school. After singing with country bands at high school, he embraced Hawaiian music and the ukulele while at university. His passion for Hawaiian and jazz music remains undimmed, and he occasionally sings live, either solo or as part of a group, for fun.
