The popular program offers newcomers to Japan the chance to mingle, make friends and take advantage of the knowledge of professionals, experienced expats and internationally minded locals.

  • Japanese food and dining: Elizabeth Andoh, culinary author and teacher
  • Earthquake preparedness: Motoko Kimura and Mina Nishisaka, co-directors of WaNavi Japan, a cultural support nonprofit
