National Stadium Tour

Join an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of the centerpiece venue of Tokyo’s pandemic-delayed 2020 Olympics and Paralympics.

Hosted by former Olympic gold medalist and hammer thrower Koji Murofushi, this visit to the National Stadium will take in the multipurpose arena’s VIP areas and viewing deck.

Club Member Murofushi was the sports director of the Tokyo Games before assuming his current role as head of the Japan Sports Agency.

During this tour, he will lead Members from the stadium entrance—with its Olympic cauldrons from the 1964 and 2020 Olympiads—to areas reserved for dignitaries.

The 68,000-seater stadium, located in Kasumigaoka, Shinjuku Ward, was designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, who discussed the project in the February 2020 issue of INTOUCH.

Since the closing ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics, the stadium has hosted an array of sporting and music events.

Take this opportunity to explore a piece of Olympic history with an Olympic champion.
