After making its Olympic debut at the Tokyo 2020 Games, 3x3 basketball comes to the Club.
Member and 3x3 pro Spencer Jennings hosts a day of skills and competition for budding b-ballers.
“You need to work together to get the best possible shot for your team, using passing, screening, cutting and communication,” says Jennings. “The game is very fast. It’s been described as a 10-minute sprint instead of the marathon of a 5x5 game.”
With sessions for different age groups, Club kids pick up tips from the HIU Zerockets player before putting their skills to the test in a shooting competition followed by the 3x3 tournament itself.
Teams will battle it out for Club bragging rights and prizes, including balls, shoes and jerseys.
