Wrap up the week to the soothing sounds of pianist Takuya Watanabe and flautist Ayaka Misawa in the Winter Garden.
A graduate of Musashino Academia Musicae, Watanabe won the Tohoku Music Competition for Youth in 2008. Since then, he has specialized in Beethoven’s oeuvre.
After first picking up the flute at 10 years old, Misawa graduated from Kunitachi College of Music. A member of the Itabashi Music Performers’ Association, she has studied under master performers in Europe and appears regularly at concerts throughout Tokyo.
Rainbow Café Melodies
Before entertaining Members in the Winter Garden, Misawa will perform a 10-minute set for a younger audience in Rainbow Café from 5:45pm.
