Kick-start the weekend with an evening of belly laughs.
Filipino-Canadian comedian Ron Josol takes to the CHOP Lounge stage to entertain Members with his hilarious brand of observational storytelling and one-liners.
Josol has performed across the world over the last two decades and has appeared at the Just for Laughs comedy festival 12 times. In just his second year as a comic, he won the festival’s funniest homegrown competition. He has also taped numerous comedy specials.
“Being funny at the highest level in just one country is hard enough, but he can do it anywhere,” says fellow Canadian stand-up Rob Balsdon. “Ron Josol’s style is so natural and comfortable that people of all ages and demographics love his show.”
The evening is hosted by local comedian BJ Fox, who founded Tokyo Comedy Bar, the city’s only stand-up comedy club.
There will be a cash bar during the event.
