“Almost perfect” is how one wine critic described Moss Wood’s 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, awarding it an incredible 99 points.
But the score probably didn’t surprise Clare and Keith Mugford, who have spent decades building a reputation for beautifully crafted wines in the Margaret River region of Western Australia.
Following Keith Mugford’s visit to the Club in 2015, his son, Hugh (pictured), will host a dinner in June.
In between courses (see menu below), the winemaker and viticulturalist will discuss each Moss Wood varietal served, his role in the family business and the Wilyabrup-based winery’s dedication to excellence at every stage of production.
