Japanese Garden Walk: Autumn Evening Stroll

A trip through a landscape inspired by poetry.

Designed to reflect famous scenes from waka poems, Rikugien arden is a classic example of an Edo-period strolling garden as well as one of Tokyo’s top spots for autumn foliage viewing.

Students will learn the history and themes of the garden while enjoying the stunning evening illumination of the autumn leaves.
