After the Bollywood movie RRR’s hit song “Naatu Naatu” won an Oscar this year and inspired millions of social media videos, the Club pays homage to Indian culture and food at October’s First Friday.
The Winter Garden celebration features a performance by local Bollywood dance troupe Sahelia, with the chance for Members to pick up some easy-to-follow moves and dance like a Bollywood star.
There will be plenty of opportunity to refuel between “takes” from the buffet of Indian delights, including vegetarian samosas, chickpea salad, lamb with lentils, naan bread and vegetable and cashew curry.
Kick-start your weekend with a colorful evening of spice and song. And for those who want to keep dancing through the night, the fun (complete with Indian sweets!) continues at an after-party in CHOP Lounge until 11pm.
But the partying isn’t just for the grown-ups. Kids unwind at the end of the school week at Movie Night from 6pm.
Keep the good times going with two hours of DJ tunes, dancing and libations in CHOP Lounge from 9pm. All-you-can-drink and single-drink options available.
