Safety Measures

The Club's set of safety guidelines for different facility areas are based upon the latest Japanese and Tokyo government health directives.

The guidelines below are regularly updated in line with official advice.

  • Temperature screening and membership card checks at both entrances.
  • Face masks must be worn at all times for ages 3 and above (except when eating, drinking, swimming, showering or partaking in an activity in which wearing a mask is deemed unsuitable).
  • Club entry points: B1 Family entrance and 1F Family entrance.
  • It is strongly recommended to register guests in advance to avoid delays at check-in.
  • Members—and all those living in the same household—should follow government quarantine guidance after returning from abroad or after being in close contact with someone who has just returned from abroad or who has tested positive for Covid-19.
  • Social distancing should be followed in all areas.
  • All facilities are regularly sanitized throughout the day, with fumigation foggers used in some areas.

  • Diners must wear masks when not eating; avoid speaking loudly; order individual portions where possible; and refrain from moving restaurant furniture.
  • Socially distant table layouts, with expanded terrace seating available.
  • Plastic table partitions are available in all restaurants. Partitions may be installed on request.
  • Groups limited to eight diners in American Bar & Grill and the Nihonbashi Club's American Room.
  • Paper menus quarantined for 48 hours after use.
  • Takeout & delivery food service available.
  • 220° [Modern Teppan] and Rainbow Café’s Chill Zone closed.

  • Fitness Center measures
    - Members required to tap in and out with their membership card at self-check-in stations as a track-and-trace measure.
    - Members required to sanitize machines and equipment after use.
    - Lockers available for deposit of membership cards and valuables.
  • Sky Pool measures
    - Members required to check in and out of the Sky Pool with their membership card at self-check-in stations as a track-and-trace measure.
  • Limited private and group classes and lessons available.
  • Browsing of books at Library available (handled books to be sanitized). Members required to sanitize hands at entrance.
  • Bowling Center: open on weekends and national holidays, from 12pm to 8pm.
  • Towels provided at fitness facility check-in (limited to two per Member).
  • Sky Pool sandals, unavailable. Members should use their own.
  • The Jungle Gym and Childcare Center are closed.
  • Virtual personal training sessions and selected fitness classes available.
