Indian Delights: Vegetarian Street Food

Delve into the spice-rich world of street food from northern India.

India is famous for its vast array of delicacies and comfort food cooked at stalls along its vibrant streets, and students will learn more about popular vegetarian dishes while watching the instructor prepare and cook a selection.

There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions about cooking technique, culture and Indian food in general, before sitting down to a sumptuous lunch of street food classics.

Hema Parekh is a certified cooking teacher, nutritionist, culinary consultant and author of several cookbooks, including The Asian Vegan Kitchen and The South Indian Vegetarian Kitchen. Over her 25-year career, she has cooked for visiting heads of state and royalty. The Club Member holds a diploma in diet and nutrition for obesity management from the Indian Institute of Cosmetology, Trichology and Nutrition.
