What will I learn in this class?
Japanese plateware comes in a variety of shapes, textures and sizes. Learn how to beautifully present food on these plates as well as how to combine Western and Japanese tableware, including antiques, to create an artistic table. The class ends with a light lunch.

What is the goal of this class?
Students take home a great appreciation for Japanese homemaking and serving techniques while learning how to style their dinner tables more like a local.

Who teaches this class?
Chikako Yoshimoto is a certified art and antiques dealer with experience decorating for traditional Japanese inns. Yoshimoto also teaches floral arrangement at the Club.
