Coding: Python & Apps

Students learn to code computers using a variety of languages such as Python, MIT App Inventor, and the popular Microsoft MakeCode.


What will the students learn in this class?
Students create games, mobile apps, interactive stories, as well as digital art projects and animations. They learn about AI, Augmented Reality, Computer Science, and even code microcontrollers and devices in a fun and exciting environment.

Who Can Join?
Kids who get excited about technology and computers and want to learn about coding in a variety of digital projects using different coding languages. All backgrounds and levels are welcomed—no experience required.

 

Classes can be joined by beginner students and experienced students. Coding Lab Japan's custom curriculum is designed to scale to different levels, so beginner students learn the basics and start building a solid foundation in computer science skills while advanced students code more difficult challenges and learn new coding skills.

Who will teach this class?
Coding Lab Japan is owned and operated by ex-Microsoft software engineers with over 30 combined years of experience. Our backgrounds are in computer science, mathematics, and education. We focus on teaching fundamental computer science skills in an innovative way to keep kids engaged with coding and STEM and having fun.
