Cracking College Admissions: UK Academic Scene

Creating a standout school application requires more than top grades and leadership roles.

Learn how to get an edge from Jenny McGowan, Asia director at Keystone Tutors, who will share her expertise from over a decade in the UK education system. With a PhD in education from Oxford University, McGowan has been helping applicants navigate the application process since 2018.

The first half of the event will cover applying to UK boarding schools, shedding light on the education system, selecting schools, the admissions process, timelines and interview preparation.

The second half will focus on applying to UK universities, explaining the UCAS process, admission requirements, what top universities seek, assessment methods and preparation advice.

Finally, there will be a Q&A session where you’ll get the chance to ask your burning questions and get personalized advice.

Parents and students of any age are welcome to attend; those planning to apply to college within the next three years are strongly encouraged to join.
