Looking for a workout that doesn’t feel like one? This upbeat salsa class introduces beginners to the basic moves of the Latin dance for a Monday morning workout like no other.

Salsa offers an all-body, low-impact workout that boosts stamina, strength, coordination and flexibility. The fast-paced, rhythmic movements help tone the muscles in the arms, legs and core. Plus, an hour of salsa can burn up to 420 calories, more than 60 minutes of cycling or swimming.
Who will teach this class?
Originally from Argentina, Alejandra Blanco (pictured) specializes in bachata, salsa, merengue, belly dance and samba. She also teaches Zumba at the Club twice a week.
