Fermented rose incense is Eriyo Watanabe’s original creation, one that is based on an ancient Egyptian incense called kyphi.
The ingredients include Omani frankincense, Indian sandalwood, benzoin, and damask rose. The fragrance is truly exquisite and suitable for special occasions—perfect for the holidays.
Instructor
Eriyo Watanabe has been teaching Japanese incense ceremony and incense-making lessons for 20 years. Well-known for her original incense, she is a grand master of the Renshin school of incense, a director of the Incense Research Institute, and a specially appointed professor at Nihon Pharmaceutical University.
