Blind Date with a Book

This Valentine's month, the Library sets the stage for you to make your own love story with an assortment of wrapped books.

Be it a poignant memoir, a hair-raising horror, a heartwarming romance or a compelling historical tale, there's a chance to fall head over heels.

Who knows? You might even flirt with a new favorite author or rekindle an old genre flame.

Take a chance on up to five books at a time.

“Dating” Tips:

  • Found a book you want to take a chance on? Register it with the Library staff to get started.
  • Take your book home and start your reading date. If sparks don't fly, pass it on to another book lover.
  • Complete the survey tucked inside the front cover and return it to the Library.
  • If the book makes your heart skip a beat, leave a short review on the StoryGraph app or e-mail it to the このメールアドレスはスパムボットから保護されています。閲覧するにはJavaScriptを有効にする必要があります。.
  • Leave a sweet note about your “true love” book and get rewarded with a Valentine’s treat from Rainbow Café.
  • If Cupid doesn’t strike with the first book, there's always another chance at true love. You get five tries to find your bookish heart its true match.
