Summer Reading Challenge

Calling all adventurers!

In the Library's annual Summer Reading Challenge, young heroes set out from Camp Dawn to venture through Dusk Forest, defeat the Dark Knight and rescue their captured forest friends.

Get your gear ready and use your reading prowess to save the day!

How to play:

  • Pick up a reading log from the Library and begin your quest.
  • Read for just 30 minutes, five times, to complete one log (that’s only 2.5 hours of reading!). Visual readers can finish 10 picture books or graphic novels to complete their log.
  • For each completed reading log, you help your knight advance through the game map on the Library bulletin board.

Prizes:

  • Logs 1–4 and 6–9 earn you a prize from the Library’s own gachapon “machine” or a free book.
  • At log 5, you'll receive an ice cream voucher.
  • After 10 completed logs, claim a grand prize of a bowling voucher (limited quantities) or another ice cream voucher and legendary shiny armor for your character.

Will you rise as the champion and save your forest friends in time?
