Keeping Your Club Safe: Temporary Closure This Weekend |
|
Dear Member,
In response to an increase in confirmed COVID-19 cases this past week, Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike has requested that residents refrain from going outside this weekend for non-essential reasons.
In doing our part for our Club and our community, the Board of Governors has made the extraordinary decision to temporarily close our Club facilities for this weekend, beginning tonight at 11:00pm. While we recognize that this measure is an unfortunate inconvenience, your family’s safety and that of our employees is paramount.
At this time we do not foresee any operational changes in the week ahead and expect to be back to business as usual on Monday, March 30, at 5:45am. Should the situation change, we will provide further notice of any service disruptions as those decisions are made. Updates on all Club measures can also be found on the Keeping Your Club Safe webpage.
In the meantime, your Club’s leadership stands ready to keep your well being and that of our employees as the most important priority.
This is a dynamically changing environment and on behalf of the Board and Club management, I thank you for your continued patience and understanding, and wish you and yours the very best in this particularly difficult time.
Michael Alfant
Representative Governor
