The music director of the Tokyo Sinfonia discusses his music career and what it takes to establish an orchestra—as he did in India, Canada and Japan.
- Feb 9: Kinota Braithwaite
The children’s book author and bilingual Montessori instructor shares his experiences of encouraging children to be proud of their heritage and of teaching Black History Month in the classroom.
- Mar 9: Alice Gordenker
A screening of the American journalist’s documentary Horimono, about the taboo of tattoos in Japan and a group of inked pilgrims who visit a Mount Oyama shrine each summer.
