Masters Advanced Class-Session 8

This challenging program is designed for advanced swimmers who can complete 100m in less than 2 minutes.


What will I learn in this class?
This program focuses heavily on actual interval training, combined with proficient coaching and the use of equipment to develop swimmers’ physical and mental aptitudes.

What are the benefits of this class?
This challenging program is intensive enough to push you outside of your comfort zone, building endurance and speed. The program is designed for advanced swimmers who can complete 100m in less than 2 minutes. Three sessions per week combine for a total distance of roughly 10km of swimming.

Who will teach this class?
Masa Hamanaka is a highly experienced Japan Swimming Federation-certified swim coach. Miguel Ortiz-Cañavate represented Spain at the 2016 Rio Olympics and won the NCAA Division I title with the University of Michigan in 2013. He discussed his swim career in the May 2022 issue of INTOUCH magazine

A: Mon, Wed 6:30–7:30am and Sat 7:30–9am (first four Mon*-coach Miguel / Wed & Sat-coach Masa)
B: Wed 6:30–7:30am and Sat 7:30–9am (coach Masa)
