What will I learn in this class?
POP Pilates is dance on a mat. Set to a heart-pumping soundtrack, this new, cardio-infused Pilates blends classic and modern moves to target and tone different areas of the body, from abs to thighs. Free of exercise tools, this class is open to all levels of fitness and Pilates experience—even those who have never taken a Pilates class before.
What are the benefits of this class?
POP Pilates’ mix of exercises builds cardio endurance, flexibility and a stronger core while toning arm, leg, shoulder and back muscles. Each fun, endorphin-inducing class leaves participants feeling energized, stronger and upbeat.
Who will teach this class?
Yuka Koizumi (pictured) is a certified POP Pilates instructor with experience designing and leading trampoline cardio workouts, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) sessions and stretching classes. She is also a personal trainer. She graduated from Tokai University.
