Distinguished Achievement Award Presentation: John Roos

In the wake of the devastating 2011 Tohoku earthquake, the United States Army, Navy and Air Force mobilized to help the people of Japan recover from unprecedented destruction.

The man behind the massive operation was John Roos.

On June 20, the Club honors the former US Ambassador with the Distinguished Achievement Award.

With remarks from the Club’s Representative Governor Michael Alfant and a Q&A with Roos on his remarkable careers as both public servant and private businessman, the evening promises Members a chance to witness the culmination of a lifetime’s work bringing nations and cultures closer together.
