American Red Cross Lifeguarding Course

Become certified by the American Red Cross to work as lifeguard anywhere in the world at the Club’s four-day training seminar.


Study the latest training techniques from experienced instructors on your way to ARC certification.

Learn to prevent, recognize and respond to emergencies and provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses.

Candidates must be able to:

  • Swim 100 yards (approximately 100m)
  • Tread water for 2 minutes
  • Retrieve a submerged 10-pound object

Participants may attend only the First Aid training sessions in September. Participants must attend all four sessions to obtain full lifeguarding certification.

 

  • ¥21,600 (Sep 28 & 29 only: includes CPR, AED & First Aid training)
  • ¥40,000 (full course)
  • Ages 15 & above
