First Friday: House of Blues

The Club celebrates blues music and the American cities associated with it at an evening of live music and classic American eats.

With its origins in the Deep South of the United States, blues has influenced a slew of other musical genres, including rock, soul and country, and spawned such greats as Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker and BB King.

Local pianist Kevin McHugh and his band will pay homage to the eclectic world of blues with two sets of distinct styles shaped in cities like Memphis and Chicago.

Whatever your taste, make sure your mojo is working for an entertaining night of rollin’ and tumblin’.
